The story…

It is wartime, World War Two, and a Blackheath family worry about their sons and daughters. The girls work in the Lithgow small arms factory, one son is at the front and another wants to go. A fund-raising concert is held at Katoomba with Can Can and tap-dancing. Various interludes include singers, a barbershop quartet, the pharmacy and some crazy, doting aunts. An hilarious Fish Slap Dance concludes the performance.
